CLF Expands Into Us And Southeast Asian Markets With Large-Scale Injection Molding Machines

Founded in 1966, Chuan Lih Fa (CLF) Machinery Works Co., Ltd., has evolved over more than half a century, transforming from a local factory into an internationally renowned and respected manufacturer of injection molding machines. Driven by a commitment to continuous improvement and innovation, CLF now offers a diverse range of products designed to optimize end-to-end production efficiency for global customers.
Ms. Jenny Lin, Marketing Director at Chuan Lih Fa Machinery Works Co., Ltd., (CLF), gave her information that the company is a Taiwanese-based manufacturer of injection molding machines currently celebrating its 60th anniversary. Its core product lineup ranges from 60 tons up to 5,000 tons including the ultra-large plastic injection molding machines. Meanwhile, the company is committed to developing various types of machinery such as all-electric system machines, two-color or three-color plastic injection molding machines, ultra-large plastic injection molding machines, and the latest products such as the Smart Injection Molding Machine. By having diversified types of machines, customers around the world can search for the most suitable machines at the company to meet their needs.
For this year’s TaipeiPLAS, the company is showcasing three key highlights at its booth: a smart injection molding machine, an AI Interactive Zone, and an ultra-large injection molding machine. The smart injection molding machine integrates AI technology to automatically adjust injection parameters, helping customers reduce costs and save time during both mold testing and standard production.
The second highlight, the AI Interactive Zone, features a 3D showroom on the company’s website that allows customers to explore the machinery year-round as if you are visiting a simulating a 3D exhibition where you can view machine specifications, watch demonstration videos, and see examples of actual manufactured parts which, on the other hands, it can be said that you can obtain all information via the online showroom on the company’s website and the last one, the ultra-large injection molding machine aforementioned which represents the upper end of the company’s product range that spans from 60 ton to 5,000 ton capacities—the latter being exceptionally large for this type of equipment. This year, the company exported a 5,000-ton two-platen injection molding machine to the United States, marking a significant milestone for both the company and Taiwan’s machinery industry. This model boasts three key features: first, the two-platen design reduces the machine’s overall length, enabling customers to utilize their factory floor space more efficiently; second, the design has been modified to allow for sideloading of molds, eliminating the need for overhead installation. The third key feature is the choice to use energy-saving components, which enables customers to reduce energy consumption by at least 50%. All these three attributes highlight the strengths of the company’s 5,000-ton plastic injection molding machine and underscore CLF’s genuine expertise in manufacturing large-scale injection molding machinery.

A new technology highlight of the showcase is the “Smart Injection Molding Machine,” which integrates AI technology to automatically adjust various operational parameters. This represents the company’s most significant technological offering at the event. CLF exports machinery worldwide, with Southeast Asia remaining its primary market. At the same time, the company is strategically expanding into the United States, where it sees strong demand for large-scale machinery. Southeast Asia continues to be a priority, supported by service offices in Vietnam and Thailand that provide prompt after-sales support. CLF sees significant potential in Thailand due to increasing foreign investment and the country’s position as a leading regional manufacturing hub. Through its Bangkok service office, the company aims to help customers build and strengthen their production capabilities, particularly in specialized sectors such as automotive parts and packaging. Successful projects in these industries demonstrate CLF’s ability to deliver machinery tailored to customers’ needs.
