Stackteck: Global Moldmaking Expertise For A Wide Range Of Plastic Applications
At InterPlas Thailand 2026, StackTeck participated in the event which was a part of the Manufacturing EXPO 2026, by showcasing its plastic mold technologies of wide variety of applications to visitors visiting their booth. The featured solutions included molds for PET Preform, Beverage Closures, medical plastics, and food packaging.
Mr. Suthipote (Win) Limpiviroj, StackTeck’s Authorized Sales Representative South East Asia, told us about StackTeck’s role in Thailand and the ASEAN region that StackTeck is a leading global manufacturer of molds for food and beverage packaging, with its parent company in Canada and manufacturing facilities in Canada and South Korea. One of StackTeck’s molds on display is the Thin-wall Packaging mold, a new innovation developed by StackTeck. It uses PET resin for injection molding, resulting in a thin wall. In addition to its thin wall design, it utilizes a new 7 gates injection technology, facilitating easier adjustments. The product is currently being marketed and is expected to be launched soon.
For the Thai and ASEAN markets, StackTeck also focuses on the PET Preform market. You’ll see small plastic tubes, similar to glass straws, being blown into water bottles and other beverage & food containers. StackTeck also has new technology for PET Preform injection molding, which helps reduce waste during the injection process and minimize waste and speed up the injection molding process per cycle while maintaining the same quality. In addition, StackTeck also provides mold spare parts manufacturing services to customers. For PET Preform injection molds, StackTeck has developed innovative technology to create water channels as close as possible to the workpiece, reducing production time.
Furthermore, there is innovation in the Caps & Closures group. This technology utilizes 3 materials in a single cap: PP, TPE, and In-Mold Labeling (IML). StackTeck has technology that combines these three components into a single product. StackTeck offers diverse solutions and applications for plastic injection molding in food and beverage packaging, meeting the needs of the plastic packaging industry.
