For the overall market, the trend of digital transformation is increasing, but the printer market in Thailand is expected to remain stable in terms of the number of units sold in the next few years. However, the volume of print jobs is expected to decrease significantly after the COVID-19 crisis due to changing work patterns. In terms of IT spending in Thailand, it is expected to grow strongly, reaching 1 trillion baht for the first time in 2023, growing by approximately 5.8%, driven by strong growth factors such as spending on software solutions for use in businesses, which increased by 15.9% or 2.42 trillion baht, and artificial intelligence (AI) grew by 43.1% and is expected to increase its usage by 19.6%, with the market value expected to reach 1.628 trillion baht in 2029. The aforementioned IT investment trends, especially in software and cloud technology, reflect the increasing demand for digital solutions by IT in Thailand. The survey also found that over 61% of users are willing to increase their IT spending to enhance their work efficiency and effectiveness.
