On this occasion, our Magazine has the honor to present the interviews by courtesy of Mr. Chairit Sangsittiphan, Managing Director, Premier Tech Systems and Automation Ltd., who reveals the business operations of Premier Tech Systems and Automation in Thailand and Southeast Asia, particularly, in the field of the innovation solutions on weighing, bagging, palletizing and load securing that can be tailored to suit the working process of the customers in each industry which are available for selections whether in the manual, semi-automatic and fully automatic systems for stuffing various raw materials into a variety form of bags.
Q: How have the business operations of Premier Tech Systems and Automation
Ltd., been carried out?
In Southeast Asia, we are Premier Tech Systems & Automation (PTSA) dealing with the Industrial Weigher, Automatic & Semi Automatic Bagger, Robot Palletizer, Load Secure and Client Solutions. In Southeast Asia region, we have the production base in Thailand with branches in Vietnam and Indonesia, equipped with Sales Team, Installation Team and Maintenance Team. Other than Thailand, Vietnam and Indonesia, we also have Sales and Maintenance Teams in the Philippines and Malaysia.
Q: How has Premier Tech set the goal to offer the existing solutions to respond to the needs of current customers?
Premier Tech has a main objective to adopt technology for use in enhancing and developing our customers or partners to enable them to have modern machines while also offering the most efficient machinery technology in working. Simply to say that we are the “Solution Provider”. Our business is divided into the target portfolios as follows: Nutrition (foods, animal feeds and milk powder products), Industrial (insulation, construction materials, chemical products), Organic (cereals, firewood & paper products, nutrients), Agriculture (breeding stock seeds, rice seeds, bean seeds). On the aspect of Client Solutions, we have on call Technical Support Team available to provide assistances around the clock free of charge. The services provided include the field assistances, spare parts and machine upgrading. In addition, we provide the on-screen troubleshooting services controlled by Remote Service System to speed up the customers’ work process.
Q: Has there been any new product having currently been offered to the market?
Last year, we launched a PTF machine which eventually set a new standard in the flour industry with precision and speed to the extent of giving rise to a new standard and this year, we will launch the Tubular Form Fill & Seal (TFFS), a machine designed for customers in the Chemical Portfolio (plastic resins, pigment, corrosive material), Feed Portfolio (animal feeds, pet food) and Seed & Grain Portfolio (corn seed and soybean seed).
With the lower cost Pre Made Bag and the TFFS machine, a maximum speed can beat up to 2,200 bags/hour. The other outstanding feature of this machine series is its design for easy to use: for example; User Friendly Touch Panel + Integrated Graphic Interface, Automatic Height Adjustment, Integrated Scale Control, Easy Access Which Allow Easy to Clean and Maintenance, help reduce the installation costs because of the Pre Wired/Pre Tested Configuration design and the Compact & Sturdy Design which take less space for placing the machine as well as the Low Movement Design (Innovation), the design which is less complicated to make the operation and maintenance more effective.
Q: What is the company’s marketing planning in 2020?
We strive to penetrate to new targets: such as; plastic resins, fertilizer and breeding stock seed markets, particularly, the new product launch which is Tubular Form Fill & Seal (TFFS). In addition, we have focused on the creation of “Customer Experience” to create value and good experience for customers from the initial contact until the delivery of the machine as well as the after sales services. On the part of the Client Solutions, we have a readiness that outclasses our competitors in both technical support and Field Service Engineer.
Q: What do you mean by the difference which outclasses your competitors and how the added marketing value will be created for Premier Tech?
Like the new products mentioned above, with the features that are fast, accurate, easy to maintain and easy to operate as well as our Client Solutions which we are capable and advantageous; that we have the production factory located in Thailand with our Sales Teams in Indonesia, Vietnam and the Philippines including a Technical Support Team that communicates in the local language; that we have a warehouse for spare parts and equipments in Thailand which will help with the Machine Utilization continuously. Moreover, we have a Team of Application Engineers who can help customers design the machines to match the plant layout by using the Local Team in each country abovementioned to provide services to the customers.
Q: How do you foresee the market trend of equipments and tools in the industry?
The market trend in this region is being under the transition from Manual to Fully Automatic which Premier Tech has played an important role in providing knowledge on technology that will consequently result in more achievements on the productions while the production costs will be reduced; users will get information from machines in Real Time/On Line as well as helping to improve work efficiency and getting into the 5S standard and creating more safety in the workplace; increasing the quality of labors to be able to gain access into the Digital 4.0 era.
Q: What is Premier Tech’s plan mapped out for the future and how would you go about in building confidence in the customers?
Currently, Premier Tech in Southeast Asia is the market leader in the flexible packaging machine portfolio and recently has joined forces with BÜhler, the leader in the field of In Process to establish a joint venture in China. This partnership cooperation will indeed lead to the extensive expansion of PTSA Packaging Technology in China. As for Premier Tech in Southeast Asia, we will work under the concept, “We are strategic partner with our customers which means that PTSA is the Solution Provider for our customers in order to enable them to adopt technology for making use that will optimally be beneficial to their works with maximum efficiency while having an advantageous cost and, finally, our customers will win over their competitors in the markets.”
