Maintenance Upskilling-Plastic Injection Moulding The first ARBURG post-pandemic physical event in ASEAN
ARBURG in collaboration with Thai-German Institute (TGI), organised a workshop regarding the “Maintenance Upskilling – Plastic Injection Moulding” in Thailand. The workshop was held on Thursday, 28th April 2022 and took place at the Thai-German Institute (Amata Nakorn Industrial Estate, Chonburi).
In this event, Mr.Sintu Ou-Ngern, Director of Mold Die and Machine Tool Center-TGI, gave a welcome speech to attendees who came from automotive, medical and packaging industry. Throughout this workshop, the attendees gained an insightful knowledge on how to increasing the work performance and safety level of the injection machines as well as how to reducing the amount of waste during the production. The topics were presented by Mr.Phatsakorn Taweewat, Manager of Mold Die and Machine Tool Center Department -TGI and Mr.Nonthanat Nuangkanya, Application Engineer – ARBURG (Thailand) Co., Ltd.
After the lecture session, all attendees participated and actively discussing during machine demonstration in the workshop area where the ALLROUNDER 470E Golden Electric with Multilift select 6 kg and ALLROUNDER 370U take place. Mr. David Chan, Managing Director ARBURG ASEAN, says: “We have been focusing on online events during lockdown in the past 2 years to support customers as much as possible and now governments in ASEAN especially in Thailand have announced timelines to ease pandemic restrictions. We know this is an opportunity for ARBURG to support customer more closely. Therefore together with TGI, we decided to host this workshop as the first ARBURG post-pandemic physical event in ASEAN”
ALLROUNDER 470E 1000-290 with Multilift select 6 kgs which can be connected with IIoT machine connectivity. The machine is supported by ARBURG since signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with TGI in November 2020. It was a cooperation project of both parties to further strengthen their partnership and provide a new technology of plastic injection moulding Mrs. Ratree Boonsay, Branch Manager ARBURG Thailand, added: “We have collaborative planning with TGI to conduct more seminars and workshops more in the near future in order to transferring advanced manufacturing technology to the plastic industry in Thailand”
