IML (In Mold Labeling), StackTeck New Innovation in Packaging Label Forming.

StackTeck, a manufacturer of high-performance plastic injection molds of food and beverage packaging, and automation systems, for customers around the world, is committed to bringing innovative technologies to raise industry standards to provide customers with high productivity, low waste, fast return on investment, and sustainability.

Mr. Suthipote (Win) Limpiviroj, StackTeck’s Authorized Sales Representative for Southeast Asia, revealed at the recent Interplas 2025: “StackTeck has its headquarters in Canada and a branch plant in South Korea. Our products are plastic injection molds for use in food and beverage packaging. StackTeck’s molds are manufactured in Canada and South Korea. StackTeck’s innovative technology that we would like to introduce to businessmen, factory owners, and research and development organizations for food and beverage industry in Thailand and Southeast Asia, is the In Mold Labeling (IML) technology. IML Technology is a process that wraps the label around the packaging. The process that allows the label to wrap the packaging is to insert the label into the mold with an automated device, which is a robotic arm. Once the mold is injected with plastic, it will be a product covered with a label. Therefore, it is very important to use a robotic arm to help insert the label into the mold inside the injection machine accurately.”

“StackTeck has a solutions called StackTeck Automation or IML Robots and Turnkey Solutions, starting with the In Mold Labeling-Systems, High Speed Take-Out Systems. The High-speed take-out system is the step of the robotic arm that picks up the workpiece in the mold and takes it out to be placed on the conveyor belt. After going through this process, the next step is the Integrated Product Handling and Inspection Systems or the step of inspecting by measuring the quality of the workpieces produced with the automatic system. In addition, StackTeck has a automation system that can be arranged in layers and placed in a box to pack the products. We would like to present this solution to business operators for consideration to adopt this technology to help in their production process to increase their production capacity and reduce waste because what is gained will help reduce the number of people in the work process and help the produced products to be of higher quality. IML technology, in particular, will help make labels or advertising work attached to the packaging pieces more beautiful than other methods.
