Copeland, a global leader in sustainable climate solutions, has launched its Sensi Hydro heat pump in Southeast Asia. This integrated heating solution produces highly efficient hot water for use in hotels, commercial buildings, and hospitals. It reflects Copeland’s commitment to supporting the energy transition to electric heating technologies to reduce global greenhouse gas emissions and achieve decarbonization targets.

 

Southeast Asia has also been experiencing similar trends, with stricter energy efficiency regulations being implemented and investment in commercial infrastructure increased which eventually drives demand for sustainable heating solutions. The International Energy Agency (IEA) estimates that heat pump use will reduce carbon dioxide (CO₂) emissions by 500 million tons per year by 2032, and the commercial heat pump market is expected to reach a value of USD.608.5 million. The market is projected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 7.4% between 2023 and 2032, driven by building and project owners adopting this technology to meet their sustainability goals.
