“Thin Banana Compressed Machine for SMEs” Helps Save Energy, Increase Production Rate.

 

 

Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESRI) and Thailand Institute of Scientific and Technological Research (TISTR) by Expert Center of Innovative Health Food (ECIHF) have been successful in conducting research and development on the “Thin Banana Compressed Machine” for SMEs, by making further development from the “1st Version Semi-automatic Banana Compressed Machine.”

 

Working Principle: The thin banana compressed machine is an innovation that can substitute the use of human labor in the process of compressing bananas to help reduce fatigue, increase the production rate. In addition, every banana slice with consistently equal thin size can be achieved and that the thickness-thinness of the banana pieces can also be adjusted with the thinnest slices down to 1 millimeter. TISTR has developed the “Thin Banana Compressed Machine” for selection to use in 2 models as follows:

 

 

Small Desktop Model.

1)     For compressing bananas from 1 slice to 2 slices at a time with working rate of 30 to 50 slices/hour.

2)     Banana compressing plate system is of a rotating type over the work piece driven by a single shaft motor.

3)     Using electrical power of 50 W 220 V, with the maximum pressure of 200 kilograms.

4)     A safety switch system is installed with double push buttons to prevent hand from accidentally pressing.

 

Medium Model with Stands.

1)     For compressing bananas from 2 to 4 slices at a time with working rate of 100 to 200 slices/hour.

2)     Banana compressing plate system is of the type that moves up and over the workpiece driven by a twin shaft motor.

3)     Using electrical power of 120 W 220 V, with the maximum pressure of 500 kilograms.

4)     A safety switch system is installed with double push buttons to prevent hand from accidentally pressing.
